NEW DELHI: Lifting the restrictions, The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Friday issued fresh directions and allowed the reopening of schools in a phased manner for students of classes 9 to 12.
DDMA also allowed higher education and coaching institutes, and gyms from Monday amid a decline in Covid-19 cases in the national capital.
Authorities, however, sais that unvaccinated teachers will not attend the institutes and drivers of cars will be exempted from wearing masks if they are travelling alone.
Moreover, all offices can now function with 100% attendance.
DDMA also relaxed night curfew ban and said that it now will be imposed from 11pm to 5am.
