New York: There is a huge shortage of baby formula in US and baby feed is not available at the shops. Mothers of young children are roaming around in search of baby feed.
The Biden government is struggling to find a solution to this new problem.
It so happened that about 10 months ago, the country’s largest baby feed manufacturer recalled its product from stores across the country and stopped production at its Michigan plant after a defect was found in its product.
After the production of baby formula in the factory stopped, there was a huge shortage in the market and mothers in the houses are not able to feed their young children by feeding them something else.
A mother in a social media post wrote that she is in a desperate need, it’s only thing that her daughter can tolerate.
Another said that she’s having difficult to find baby formula for her son.
The seriousness of the situation can be gauged from the fact that many children had to be admitted to hospitals due to malnutrition due to lack of baby feed.
