Chandigarh: The annual budget session of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) approved a budget of Rs 1,138 crore for the financial year 2023-24.
This time there is a deficit budget of Rs 32 crore. The budget session held at Teja Singh Samundari Hall was presided over by committee president Harjinder Singh Dhami, while the budget was presented by general secretary Gurcharan Singh Grewal.
This time the main budget does not include the budget of gurdwaras and educational institutions of Haryana, but a supplementary budget of Rs 57 crore has been kept separately in this regard. Last year, the budget of the Sikh body was Rs 988 crore.
