Amritsar: Jathedar of Akal Takht Giani Harpreet Singh said that Gatka centres should be converted into shooting ranges so that youth will be trained with modern weapons.
He called upon the entire nation to unite and said that Policies have been formulated to weaken the Sikhs religiously, politically and economically after the partition of the country, he added on the occasions of Ghallughara Diwas in Sri Harmandir Sahib. He alleged that policies have been formulated to weaken and suppress The Sikhs which still pose a big challenge to the nation.
He also expressed major concern over churches and mosques being built in large numbers in rural Punjab and asked Sikh preachers to advocate vehemently against the propaganda.
