Shubman Gill becomes youngest player to score double century, hits 208 against New Zealand

New Delhi: Indian opener Shubman Gill made a splash with the first ODI against New Zealand at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. Shubman scored a double century off 146 balls. Shubman scored 208 runs against New Zealand. He hit 19 fours and 9 sixes in his innings.

He has become the youngest batsman to score a double century. Shubman has done this feat in 23 years and 132 days. Before him, this record was in the name of Ishan Kishan, he scored a double century in ODIs against Bangladesh at the age of 24 years and 145 days.

At the same time, the name of Indian captain Rohit Sharma is at number three in this list. He scored a double century in ODIs against Australia at the age of 26 years and 186 days.
