Patna: At least six labourers were killed and several others seriously injured after boilers at a noodle-making factory in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district exploded.
The explosion took place on Saturday night at 10 p.m. and was so intense that its noise was heard 5 km away from the spot.
The loud explosion was heard by residents in nearby areas, up to a kilometre away. Visuals show hundreds of people rushing to the incident site to check what happened injuries.
The identities of the labourers who died in the accident are yet to be ascertained, police said.
