Six killed in shooting in Canada’s Toronto: Police

Toronto: In a shooting incident, six people were shot dead at a condominium unit in a Toronto suburb here on Sunday. In retaliation, the gunman was killed by the police.

York Regional Police Chief Jim MacSween told reporters that one of his officers shot and killed the suspect in Vaughan, Ontario. McSween said another man was shot by the suspect, after which he is in hospital and is expected to survive while five people fatally injured, died after the shooting.

Ontario’s Special Investigation Unit is investigating the case.
