Six Punjabi youths arrested in Canada for stealing from commercial establishments

Ottawa: Six people have been arrested by the York Regional Police on charges of committing at least 21 burglaries in commercial establishments in the York Region. The names of the alleged accused arrested by the York Regional Police have been made public, including Salinder Singh (26), Navdeep Singh (23), Lovepreet Singh (25), Anuvir Singh (25), Manpreet Singh (24) and Sukhmandeep Sandhu (34) from Toronto.

The investigation against them was going on since November 2021 and they were arrested on September 13 and 14.

A total of 47 charges have been imposed on them. Heroin and cocaine were also recovered from the accused along with the stolen items. In addition to the York Region, they may have also committed thefts in peel, halton, durham and toronto areas, according to police.
