Washington: Snow storms continue to wreak havoc in US these days. A man died on his birthday after being hit by a winter storm in winter.

William Clay, 56, was confirmed as one of 16 victims who died from a winter storm in Buffalo, US.

The family members identified his body soon after he was reported missing on Christmas Eve, a media report said.

William Clay’s sister had earlier urged people to help her to trace her missing brother in a Facebook post. Later, she shared the news of his death and wrote, “I am the sister of the man who lost his life on Saturday during a snowstorm. My brother unexpectedly lost his life on his birthday.

Buffalo in New York is in the grip of heavy snowstorms these days. Due to this snowstorm, the festival of Christmas in New York was faded. The deadly snowstorm forced motorists and rescue workers to be imprisoned in their vehicles. Local media reported that thousands of homes were without electricity due to the storm. At the same time, at least 31 people died in weather-related incidents in the US.
