SpiceJet flight turbulence: 13 passengers ‘severely injured’; DGCA orders probe

New Delhi: At least 13 passengers have suffered serious injuries after a SpiceJet flight operating from Mumbai to Durgapur in West Bengal encountered severe turbulence

during landing on Sunday evening.

Following the incident, DGCA today ordered a probe into the incident.

According to the information, SpiceJet Flight the Boeing B737 aircraft, operating as the G-945, was immediately provided medical attention upon arrival in Durgapur, and the airline said it was “providing all possible medical assistance to the injured”.
