Sri Lanka: Three held for setting fire to PM’s private residence

Colombo: Police have arrested three persons in connection with the fire at the private residence of Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and the Crime Investigation Department (CID) has taken over the responsibility of investigating the incident. According to media reports Sri Lankan police have arrested three people on Sunday in connection with the fire that broke out on Saturday in the prime minister’s private residence during anti-government protests. In a video released on Twitter by local media, it was damaged due to the fire.
