New Delhi: South Africa defeated India by four wickets in a T20 match here on Sunday to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. South Africa captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and elected to bowl first. The Indian batsmen had to face a lot of difficulties while facing the South African bowlers and the team could only manage 148 runs for the loss of six wickets.
Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer top-scored with 40 and Ishan Kishan scored 34 off 21 balls. Similarly, Katrik scored 30 off 21 balls while Harshal Patel scored 12 runs in 9 balls and remained unbeaten. In reply, South Africa scored 149 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 18.2 overs and won the match.
