Chandigarh: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) member and former chairman of Nagar Sudhar Trust Jalandhar Paramjit Singh Raipur today quit the Congress and joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the presence of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

Sushil Rinku’s position could be strengthened with his joining AAP. Former MLA Jagbir Singh Brar played a key role in inducting Paramjit Singh Raipur into the Aam Aadmi Party.

Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has finalised its strategy for assembly elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. AAP will launch the campaign from Rajasthan on Monday. AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will hold a show of strength in Jaipur.

On Tuesday, both the leaders will go to Madhya Pradesh and hold a meeting in Bhopal to assess the atmosphere of the state.

AAP’s main focus is on Rajasthan. The AAP is looking at areas adjoining Punjab as a “soft target”. It hopes to win seats in areas with Punjabi influence.

AAP’s core team has seen three scenarios in Rajasthan. First, how much will the Congress suffer in the battle between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot and what will be Gehlot’s stand at the time of elections? Secondly, whether the BJP will give a free hand to Vasundhara Raje or not. But, the AAP believes that Vasundhara’s show of strength in Salasar has strengthened her claim. AAP feels that if Vasundhara becomes strong, congress will suffer.

In that situation, AAP sees an opportunity to capture the shrinking ground of the Congress. AAP has also taken feedback from some administrative officials. This has shown that the officers are also upset with the internal fight of the Congress. In many places, there is a situation where the minister belongs to the Gehlot camp, the MLA belongs to the Pilot camp and the MP belongs to the BJP.

Third, AAP is looking for leaders who win elections on the symbol of any party with their own influence. There are many independent MLAs those have played a role in forming the government.

After the poor performance in the Gujarat elections and the recent case of Manish Sisodia’s arrest in Delhi, the party wants to send a message to its volunteers that it will continue to struggle and expand the scope in the 2024 general elections. The party also wants to take advantage of the perception that the AAP believes converts the Congress vote.

New Delhi: Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena has directed the Chief Secretary to recover Rs 97 crore from the Aam Aadmi Party government. The matter is about government advertisements.

It is alleged that the AAP printed political ads in the name of government advertisements.

The LG’s directive comes in the wake of a 2015 Supreme Court order, a 2016 Delhi High Court order. It is alleged that the AAP government is violating the orders of the court.

The AAP is on the target of its opponents for spending on advertising. On September 13 this year, the Congress took a dig at the AAP, saying that it is not a common aam aadmi party, but arvind advertisement party.

“AAP, which indulges in advertising and corruption politics, should be called Arvind Advertising Party, Arvind Actors Party and Arvind Ash Party,” Party leader Ajoy Kumar had said at the Congress headquarters in Delhi. The Congress leader had said that the Bhagwant Mann government was not able to pay salaries of employees but it had Rs 36 crore to pay for campaign expenses in Gujarat in two months.

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ : ਅਗਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਰਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ‘ਆਪ’ ਦੇ ਕਨਵੀਨਰ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਚੋਣ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ, ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸੱਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਸੀ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਸੱਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਤਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਨੇਤਾ ਅਨਿਲ ਵਿਜ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਅਨਿਲ ਵਿਜ ਨੇ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਤਨਜ਼ ਕਸਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਗਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਮਾਡਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ। ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਆਪ) ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਣਨ ਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ 300 ਯੂਨਿਟ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਮੁਫਤ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੇਣ, ਚੌਵੀ ਘੰਟੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬਿੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਆਫ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ‘ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਅਨਿਲ ਵਿਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਕਗਾਰ’ ਤੇ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਚੂਹੇ ਡੁੱਬ ਰਹੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਛਾਲਾਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਛਾਲਾਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਮੁਢਲੇ ਆਸਾਰ ਹਨ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਕਈ ਧੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਪਾਰਟੀ ਹਾਈ ਕਮਾਨ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਧੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੌਰੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਈਕਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੁਖਪਾਲ ਖਹਿਰਾ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਹਾਈ ਕਮਾਂਡ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਤ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਐਨਆਰਆਈਜ਼ ਨੇ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ 2017 ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ। ਸੁਖਪਾਲ ਖਹਿਰਾ ਨੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਐਨਆਰਆਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਪੈਸਾ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਗਿਆ? ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪੈਸਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ। ਖਹਿਰਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ਬਟਨ ਦਬਾ ਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਹਰ 4 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਸੈਲਫ ਗੋਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਗਲਤੀ ਦੀ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸਿਰਫ ਵਨ ਮੈਨ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਹੈ।
