Mumbai: A small single seated training plane crashed in Maharashtra’s Pune district. The woman pilot was injured in the accident. The accident took place around 11.30am in Kadabanwadi in Indapur tehsil. The plane, which belonged to the private aviation school, had taken off from Baramati airport in Pune. The injured woman pilot Bhavna Rathore sustained minor injuries and has been admitted to a hospital.

The plane was damaged in the accident. Meanwhile civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia tweeted that aviation regulator DGCA has initiated an inquiry into the cause of the accident.
