Chandigarh: Film actress Kangana Ranaut has been summoned by a Bathinda court in a defamation case.

Actresses has been asked to appear before the court on April 19 on the pil filed by elderly Mahinder Kaur of village Bahadurgarh Jandiya.

During the farmers’ agitation in Delhi, the actress had tweeted a picture of Mahinder Kaur when she participated in the agitation and wrote a “derogatory” tweet on an elderly woman that they were available for Rs 100-100.

Mumbai: ‘Punjab is in my blood’, actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh said on Tuesday when a fan questioned him about his absence from Punjab.

Replying to Diljit’s tweet about his latest album ‘MoonChild Era’, the fan wrote, “Hun Punjab nahi nazr anda jithe janam hoya bhai jaan (Brother, now we don’t see you in your birthplace Punjab anymore.”

To which Diljit replied, “Punjab is in my blood, brother. Lakhs of people step out of Punjab for work.”
