But now Congress MP and rebel party leader Manish Tewari has questioned the process of Congress president election.

He has demanded that the list of voting representatives be made public. Earlier, Anand Sharma had also questioned the voter list in the CWC meeting.

Tiwari has also expressed apprehension that the nomination of a candidate in the presidential election may be canceled on the pretext that the proposer is not a voter. Ten proposers are required to contest the speaker’s election.
