Jalandhar: Punjab Congress president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring has expelled Jalandhar deputy mayor and Congress leader Harsimranjit Singh Bunty from the party for six years.

As per the orders issued by him, Deputy Mayor Municipal Corporation Jalandhar Councillor Harsimranjit Singh Bunty is being expelled from the party for six years on charges of anti-party activities and violation of party discipline.

Earlier, Bunty had resigned from his post and from the Congress. Bunty had expressed his displeasure with the former MLA and said that he had resigned after which the new action was taken.
