New Delhi: The Central government is considering to doing away with a provision that makes it mandatory for international travellers to upload their Covid vaccination certificate or negative RT-PCR test report on the ‘Air Suvidha’ portal before arriving in India.
Sources said the existing system of filling up the self-declaration form online on the portal will continue.
Officials said that the move is being taken as passengers have been complaining about the portal being periodically down and making it thought for them to access it and uploading of certificates.

Brasilia: Following decline in Covid-19 cases across the globe and many countries have lifted the travel restrictions, Brazil has also announced to remove the requirement of presenting a negative coronavirus test.
According to the information, Brazil government issued directions that fully vaccinated travellers arriving by plane now will not require to furnish any Covid-19 test report and they would be allowed to enter the country.
