New Delhi: A joint press conference of three army forces was held on the Aginpath scheme and said that first batch training of Agniveers to start from December 30.

Defence ministry said the salary of agniveers will increase every year. There was a need for improvement for a long time.

The process started in 1989 and this year there will be 46,000 recruitments. During the press conference, officials said the next battle will be with technology.

The Agneepath scheme was announced on June 14. The Agneepath scheme is beneficial for the youth. It was being discussed for 2 years.

Lt Gen Anil Puri sais that Agniveers to get Rs 1 crore compensation if he’s martyred and 25,000 Agniveers will be part of first batch.
