Adelaide: India defeated Australia 4-3 in the third hockey Test to maintain the five-match series. Earlier, India had lost both the first two matches.

India notch up their first win in 13 years on Wednesday and captain Harmanpreet Singh scored a goal in 12th minute, followed by Abhishek at 47th minute and Shamsher Singh 57th and Akashdeep Singh (60th) scored for India to clinch the match while Australia gunned three goals before the final whistle blown in the match.
