Chandigarh: A professor Gursang Preet Kaur at the Lovely Professional University (LPU) was sacked for insulting Lord Ram in a viral on the internet.

The University released a statement on its official Instagram account and said that it was her personal opinion and she had been sacked with an immediate effect for hurting religious sentiments.

“We understand that some have been hurt by the video shared on the social media where one of our faculty member can be heard sharing her personal opinion. It was her personal opinion,” the statement read.

In thr viral video on the social media, she used some objectionable language against Lord Ram and termed him as a cunning person and said that Lord Ram made all the plans to trap Sita and later the blamed Ravana for it. How can we decide who is good and who is evil?
