Toronto: Indo-Canadian TikToker Megha Thakur, known for spreading the message of positivity and self-confidence, passed away suddenly last week. Her parents gave this information in an Instagram post. Brampton-based Megha Thakur, who has 93,000 followers on TikTok, passed away last week at the age of 21

She was a resident of Indore in Madhya Pradesh. Megha’s parents shared the sad news on Instagram and wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce this sad news. Our kind, caring and beautiful daughter, Megha Thakur, passed away suddenly in the wee hours of November 24, 2022.

“Megha was a confident and independent young woman. She loved her fans and wanted you to know about her demise. At this time, we seek your blessings for Megha. Your thoughts and prayers will stay with him in his journey ahead.”

The cause of his death has not been revealed. A condolence meeting was held in her memory in Brampton on Tuesday.
