New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing BJP workers on Friday said that in the last few days the country has witnessed that efforts are being made to create a division on the basis of languages.

The BJP sees a reflection of Indian culture in every regional language and considers them worthy of worship, he said.

Pathankot: Three days ahead of Punjab Assembly polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held a rally in Pathankot and lashed out at opposition.

Modi termed the Aam Aadmi Party a photocopy of Congress and alleged that both parties are pretending to fight against each other in Punjab and both opposed the Ram temple in Ayodhya and they speak the “language of Pakistan” when Indian soldiers show their valour.

Taking a dig at the Congress, PM said that if the Congress gets another chance, it will put the security of Punjab at risk. Earlier, Captain Amarinder Singh used to stop him from going down the wrong path but he’s not there anymore either.

He said that Congress had committed a sin by failing to keep Kartarpur Sahib within India’s territory at time of partition.

“One pushed the youth of Punjab into the trap of drugs. The other is making the youth of Delhi addicted to alcohol. One looted Punjab, the other is doing one after another scam in Delhi. They are working in cahoots with each other in Punjab,” Modi said while addressing the rally.

New Delhi: Launching fierce attack on Mamata Banerjee TMC party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi racked up TMC’s interview given in Goa and said that it was contesting elections there to divide Hindu votes.

Mamata Banerjee’s party contested Goa polls first time and had allied with one party (MGP) to divide the Hindu votes in Goa, Modi said adding that enacting a law against “triple talaq”, by BJP government has saved thousands of Muslim women in UP.

This remark has once again heated up the politics amid the ongoing elections in UP, as hijab row currently going on in Karnataka.

He said that Muslim feels safe under leadership of BJP but opposition trying to create mayhem for their vested interests.

New Delhi: The decisions taken at the bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden in Washington on Friday would define the economic and security landscape of the next century, said a Joint Statement.

This will be done by the Strategic Clean Energy Partnership (SCEP) and the recently-launched Climate Action and Finance Mobilisation Dialogue (CAFMD), said the Joint Statement.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated newly appointed Chief Minister of Punjab Charanjit Singh Channi.

Channi swore as 16th Punjab CM in presence of Rahul Gandhi, Punjab affairs in-charge Harish Rawat and many other senior leaders after Captain Amarinder Singh resigned from the post on Saturday citing that he felt humiliated as treated by Congress high command in recent months.

PM wrote on Twitter, “Congratulations to Shri Charanjit Singh Channi Ji on being sworn-in as Punjab’s Chief Minister. Will continue to work with the Punjab government for the betterment of the people of Punjab.”

The 58-year-old Dalit Sikh leader was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Banwarilal Purohit at a simple ceremony. He took the oath in Punjabi.
