Ottawa: The mayor’s campaign was formally launched by City staffer, lawyer and whistleblower Nikki Kaur in Brampton and pledged to end what she calls “four years of scandal” at city hall.

On this occasion, Nikki Kaur’s campaign to show the Mayor Patrick Brown administration the way out in the City Hall was supported by former Brampton Mayor Linda Jeffrey.

Nikki Kaur kicked off her campaign in the presence of more than 600 supporters on the occasion at Kaur Headquarters in Brampton, close to Bramley City Centre.

On this occasion, former mayor Linda Jeffrey filled the atmosphere with more enthusiasm by entering as a VIP guest. She said they had read about Nikki being a whistleblower. She dared to fight against power and tell the truth. She has not succumbed to any greed and bullying and has no hidden agenda.

Nikki then said that she is Brampton’s daughter and her family has been settled here since she was seven years old. She said that she studied at Cherry Tree Public School and Brampton Centennial High while living in Cherry Tree.

Brampton is no longer safe because of the rise in gun crime, she said. Day-to-day carjackings are taking place. In such a critical period, Patrick Brown has left Brampton residents at his helm.

On this occasion, Nikki Kaur expressed her confidence that as mayor, she will make Brampton a safe community for children, families, seniors and small businesses.
