Chandigarh: Mohali and Panchkula, including Chandigarh, have been receiving rain since last night. It has been raining in the tricity after a sudden change in weather. The rain continued till Tuesday morning.

It continues to rain amidst a thunderstorm of clouds. The rains that started late Monday evening are not taking the name of stopping. Heavy rains lashed every part of Chandigarh on Monday night.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert that the weather will remain bad in the coming days as well. The temperature has also come down due to rain. The weather has cooled down.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to bad weather, many districts of Punjab will receive rain today. In Punjab, rainfall was predicted in Jalandhar, Nawanshahr, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, Ropar, Barnala, Sangrur, Mansa, Patiala and Mohali. Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Ambala and Panchkula in Haryana have been receiving rainfall since late night.

Due to the rain in the tricity,there is a dip in the temperature.
