New Delhi: A former intelligence bureau officer allegedly raped a minor on the pretext of giving her a job in Xentral Delhi’s Karol Bagh, police said on Wednesday.

According to the the police 60-year-old accused is a friend of rape survival’s farther and girl has completed her high school recently. Currently, she is pursuing a beautician course, police said.

Police said that preliminary investigation revealed that on March 7, accused took 17-year-old girl girl to a hotel and allegedly raped her. Later, he dropped her back her home and threatened to not disclose the incident to anyone.

However, a day after on Women’s day on Tuesday, she shared the whole crime with her parents.

On her statement, a case under section 376 (rape) of the IPC and POCSO Act. Accused is absconding.

New Delhi: In a horrific incident, a woman police constable has reportedly gang-raped by three men in Madhya Pardesh’s Neemuch district, police said on Saturday.

Accused had also filmed the act and threatened to kill the victim, the police said.

According to the information, the incident took place early this month but 30-year-old filed a complaint on September 13 after which investigation was conducted into the matter and a case was registered against five people into the matter.

The accused included the mother of the main accused.

In her complaint, the woman told the police that she was raped by three people including main accused, his brother and another man at a birthday party and main accused’s mother also blackmailed her and a relative also threatened to kill her and tried to extort money from her.

“Main accused had befriended me on Facebook and had been interacting with me on WhatsApp since April. He invited me to his younger brother’s birthday party there he along with two other men raped me,” she told the police.

Anuradha Girwal, in-charge of the women police station that a case has been registered and further investigation is underway into the matter.

ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਕਾਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤਾਲਾਬੰਦੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਇੱਥੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਤਕ ਥਾਵਾਂ, ਸਕੂਲ ਅਤੇ ਦਫਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੰਦ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਇਕ ਜਨਵਰੀ 2021 ਤੋਂ 15 ਜੂਨ 2021 ਤੱਕ ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲ 833 ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਲੀ-ਮੁਹੱਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕਾਫੀ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਅੰਕੜਿਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਇਥੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 30 ਤੋਂ 40 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਉਲਟ ਸਾਲ 2020 ਵਿਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ ਆਈ ਸੀ।

ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੰਕੜਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਝਾਤੀ ਮਾਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਬੀਤੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਇਕ ਜਨਵਰੀ 2020 ਤੋਂ 15 ਜੂਨ 2020 ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਲੁੱਟ ਦੇ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ 701 ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਉਲਟ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ 942 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 46 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲ 3,800 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਜਦ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਸਿਰਫ 2600 ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਰੀ ਦੇ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੱਡਾ ਵਾਧਾ

ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਅੰਕੜਿਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਚੋਰੀ ਦੇ 63,000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਮੋਟਰ ਵਾਹਨ ਚੋਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵੀ ਵਧ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ 7,000 ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 43 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। 1 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੋਂ 15 ਜੂਨ ਤੱਕ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲ 833 ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

ਇਸ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਬਾਲਾਜੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਵਾਸਤਵ ਨੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਬੈਠਕ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੜਕਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਚੌਕਸੀ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚੌਕਸੀ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਲਾਕਡਾਊਨ ਵਿਚ ਢਿੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ, ਮਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਥਾਵਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜੁਰਮ ਦੀ ਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
