Sangrur: Four motorcycle-borne youths were killed in an accident near Upli village on the Bathinda-Zirakpur National Highway near Sangrur. The four youths on a motorcycle were on their way to village Upli last night when the scorpio coming from behind caught hold of the motorcycle.

The youth belonged to one village of Nabha near Thuhi, two to Gujjars and one to another village. Among them was a mason, two labourers and an ITI. Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.

Sangrur: Two youths were killed on the spot in a head-on collision between a bullet motorcycle and a Fortuner in Lehragaga village near here late last night.

Chamkaur Singh and Binder Singh, both residents of Village Dudia, were going on a bullet motorcycle to distribute wedding cards when they collided head-on with a Fortuner vehicle near Lehragaga.

Due to this, after the explosion in the motorcycle, it caught fire and both the youths riding the motorcycle were burnt on the spot. The police are investigating the matter.
