Chandigarh: The Punjab Police is constantly adopting a strict attitude to strengthen law and order in Punjab. After initiating arms review proceedings in three months, cases will now be registered against those using hate speech/hate speech in Punjab.

The police have launched a special operation across Punjab, which will continue for 90 days. During this time, separate police teams will work in the supervision of high officials in all the states.

DGP Gaurav Yadav said that cases will be registered in the case of hate speech against any community. Accounts of those who give hate speech on social media will also be scanned.

Arms license to be cancelled if address is fake

The Punjab Police-Administration is reviewing the arms and other related papers of arms license holders. During this time, the licenses of the license holders whose address was found to be fake will be canceled. Action will also be taken against the youth who put up posts related to weapons in songs or on social media.

Shiv Sena leader, Dera follower murdered

Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri was murdered in Amritsar recently. After this, the Punjab Police directed to review the arms license holders in 3 months. Investigations into the increasing criminal incidents in Punjab have revealed that licensed and illegal weapons have been used in them. Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri was murdered with a licensed weapon.

According to the Punjab Police, the murder was not done at the behest of anyone, while many gang posts were sharing on social media and taking responsibility for this murder.

Cases registered for gun culture and singing provocative songs

Recently, the Punjab Police has registered a case against a Punjabi singer for singing inflammatory songs based on gun culture. While this year, a criminal case was registered against Punjabi singer Ji Khan for singing indecent songs on stage during ganesh festival in Janakpuri, Ludhiana. Shiv Sainiks had complained against this and a sit-in protest was also held.

Two years ago, singer Pawandeep Singh Brar alias Sree Brar was arrested by Patiala police from Sector 91 in Mohali for singing inflammatory songs on weapons.

A case was registered against the singer for promoting gun culture and violating the law. Apart from this, there have been controversies over the songs of Sidhu Moosewala and Mankirat Aulakh, Sippy Grewal and many other singers and cases have also been registered against many.
