Palghar (Maharashtra): Television actress Tunisha Sharma (20), a resident of Chandigarh, committed suicide during the sets of a serial show in Vasai in Maharashtra’s Palghar district today.

A police official said that Tunisha was shooting for ‘Ali Baba: Dastan-e-Kabul’. During this time she went to the washroom and did not come out for a long time.

Her body was found hanging inside when the door of the washroom was broken open.

Senior inspector Kailash Barve of Waliv police station said the police are investigating the matter. Tunisha was active on social media shortly before her death.

She had also shared a picture of herself, with the caption, “Those who are inspired by their hobbies, they do not stop.”

Mohali: India shooter Namanveer Singh Brar (28) reportedly committed suicide at his residence in Sector 71 house here on Monday.

Trap shooter Brar had finished fourth in the Minimum Qualification Score (MQS) category of the Delhi Shooting World Cup in March this year.

In 2015, he had bagged the bronze in the double-trap shooting event of the World University Games at Gwangju, South Korea.

Jalandhar: The Commissionerate Police have arrested a Congress leader Lovepreet Singh of Friends Colony in a connection with over one year old double suicide case, here on Friday.

A couple committed suicide and allegations were levelled on the local Congress leader that he was harassing Ashima Rana (35), a former lecturer at APJ College and her husband Vikas Rana (38).

Ashima hanged herself in the house while her husband Vikas committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train on the Goraya-Phillaur railway track a day later. The couple was residing at Friends Colony. The couple was survived by two minor daughters.

ਬਰਨਾਲਾ : ਕਸਬਾ ਧਨੌਲਾ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਚਰਚਿਤ ਲਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਲਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੀ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਗਈ ਪਤਨੀ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕੌਰ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਥਾਣਾ ਧਨੌਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਧਾਰਾ 420 ਤਹਿਤ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕੌਰ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਇਹ ਪਰਚਾ ਦਰਜ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਕੋਠੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਪੁਰਾ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਾਰਗ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਰਨਾ ਲਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਾਅਰੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

ਇਸ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ‘ਚ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ 420 ਦਾ ਪਰਚਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਚ ਧਾਰਾ 306 ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਖ਼ੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਉਕਸਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਪਰਚਾ ਦਰਜ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਸੀ। ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਲਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਾਰੀਕੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਡੀ.ਏ. ਲੀਗਲ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਲਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੀ ਪੋਸਟਮਾਰਟਮ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਆਉਣੀ ਅਜੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਹੈ। ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਸਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਐਫ ਆਈ ਆਰ ਵਿਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਲਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ 2 ਅਗਸਤ 2019 ਨੂੰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕੌਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। 17 ਅਗਸਤ 2019 ਨੂੰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕੌਰ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਜਾਣ ’ਤੇ ਲਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ  ਨੇ 24 ਤੋਂ 25 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚ ਕੀਤੇ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਚਾਰ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਲਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੁੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਤੇ ਅਖੀਰ ਉਸਦੀ ਖੇਤ ਵਿਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।

ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਹ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੌਤ ਦਵਾਈ ਚੜ੍ਹਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕੌਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਲਵਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਠੱਗੀ ਮਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਉਸਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਤਿੰਨੋਂ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਹਰਮੇਲ ਕੌਰ (ਨਾਨੀ), ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ (43) ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਪੁੱਤਰੀ ਅਮਨਜੋਤ ਕੋਰ (19) ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਗੌਰਤਲਬ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਮਰਦ ਕਮਾਊ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਮੰਦਹਾਲੀ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਦਾਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਬੱਚੇ ਇਕ ਕੁੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੰਡਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
