Chandigarh: Slain Singer Sidhu Moosewala’s new song titled ‘SYL’, which had got 27 million views in just two days, removed from YouTube.

Late Sidhu Moosewala’s song was released on the evening of June 23, the song was widely watched worldwide. In this song, Sidhu Moosewala had talked about many burning issues of Punjab including SYL and release of Sikh Prisoners.

It is said that song has been removed by YouTube following a complaint filed by the Central government in this regard.

New Delhi: The song, which was released 26 days after the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, became a hit within six minutes. In four hours, the song was watched by 5.8M people. Sidhu, through his last song, gave air to the ongoing SYL issue between Punjab and Haryana. In the song, Sidhu also mentioned the farmers’ agitation and the Red Fort over the farm laws.

In the song, Moosewala lashed out at Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab.

In the first six minutes, the song was viewed by 4.75 lakh people and liked by 3.14 lakh people. Within the first six minutes, the song became a complete hit. Two hours later, the song was watched by 22 lakh people, 14 lakh people liked the song and 2 lakh 52 thousand people commented.

Sidhu Moosewala’s new song talked about water and other contentious issues related to it. During Sidhu’s song, Aam Aadmi Party’s Haryana in-charge Sushil Gupta is saying that he will get SYL water to Haryana if his party forms the government in Haryana like Punjab in 2024. In the song, Sidhu has lauded the march to Delhi during the farmers’ agitation against the three farm laws and waving the Nishan Sahib, a symbol of the Sikh community, at the Red Fort.
