New Delhi: Counting of voters in Uttar Pradesh has began to decide fate of leaders at 403 constituencies. Elections was held in seven phases from February 10 to March 7 in the UP elections.

-Manipur Election Results:

The BJP leads 23 seats while Congress is at four constituencies in Manipur. Counting of votes for 60 assembly seats

Goa Assembly Elections:

Bharatiya Janata Party took a lead over Congress in 19 seats, Congress gets in 15 assembly seats.

-Uttarakhand Election Results: Saffron Wave in hill state as BJP crosses majority mark. Former CM Harish Rawat trails by over 10, 000 votes in Lalkuwa.

-UP Election: BJP passes 250+ mark, 2 ministers trail

-It will be for the first time since 1985 that a ruling party to form government again in Uttar Pradesh.

-Initial Trends of Elections:

-Uttar Pradesh: BJP at 227, SP at 98, BSP – 6 and Congress- 5

-Uttarakhand: BJP at 36, Congress – 23, AAP – 0

-Manipur: BJP – 14, Congress – 6, NPP – 3, NPF – 2 seats leading

-Goa: BJP – 18 lead, Congress at 15, AAP – 1, TMC+ – 2

-Akhilesh Yadav is leading by 12,356 votes in Karhal

– BJP leading in Rath assembly seat in Hamirpur by 2,811 votes

– In Lalitpur, BJP is leading by 10,000 votes after 4th round

-In Mahoba, BJP leads by 8,060 votes

– BSP leads Madhaugarh seat in Jalaun by 400 votes.

– Akhilesh Yadav is ahead in Mainpuri’s Karhal with over 7,000 votes.

-BJP party-led by CM Yogi Adityanath, which enjoyed clear majority in previous elections, is now seeking another term.

However, it is facing a direct contest from Samajwadi Party, headed by former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and BSP headed by Mayawati is also among strong contenders.

Congress is also hoping to perform well from previous results as Priyanka Gandhi Vadra put an impressive show during campaigns.

Kushinagar: In a catalytic incident, 13 people including children died after falling into a well while performing a marriage function in Kushinagar district, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.

In the incident, at least 10 people were also sustained injuries. The incident occurred at Naurangiya Tola village when an iron grille on which they were sitting, broke down.

Deceased have been identified as Pooja (19), Shashi Kala (15), Shakuntala (35), Mamta Devi (35), Meera (25), Pooja (20), Pari (1), Jyoti (15), Radhika (16), Sundari (15), Aarti (10), Pappi (20) and Manu (18), officials said.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath condolences the tragic incident. The government also announced ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh to the kin of each deceased.

Condoling the loss of lives, Prime Minister Modi said, “The incident at Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh is heartbreaking. I convey my deepest condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives in this. At the same time, I wish the injured a speedy recovery. The local administration is doing everything possible to help.”

New Delhi: Claiming to register a thumping victory in the upcoming assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, Home Minister Amit Shah said that BJP will cross the 300 mark in the elections.

Shah launched a mega membership drive “Mera Parivaar-BJP Parivaar” from Lucknow.

Speaking on the event, “Without UP there cannot be government at centre and UP gets a huge credit to make Narendra Modi governments in 2014 and 2019,” he said.

Shah said that they have fulfilled all promises made to people in 2017 and appealed people to vote for BJP.

“We have fulfilled all promises made to the people in 2017, but we need five years to uplift the standard of UP and make it number one state across the country. If you want Modi PM in 2024 then cast your vote to BJP and elect Yogi Adityanath as CM in 2022,” Shah said.

ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤਿੰਨੋ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਤਿੰਨ ਕਿੱਲੋ ਅਫੀਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੱਕ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਪੁੱਜੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਅਫ਼ੀਮ ਦੀ ਖੇਪ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਤਕ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨੀ ਸੀ। ਏਐੱਸਆਈ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਯੂਪੀ ਦੇ ਬਰੇਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਤਿੰਨ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਅਫੀਮ ਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਾਊਸਫੈਡ ਦੋ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਾਕਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਕਤ ਤਿੰਨੋਂ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਲਿਆ। ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਅਨਿਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਕਸ਼ਿਅਪ ਕੋਲ ਤਿੰਨ ਕਿੱਲੋ ਅਫੀਮ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਸਾਥੀ ਬ੍ਜਪਾਲ ਤੇ ਰਾਕੇਸ਼ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਅਫ਼ੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਵੰਡ ਕਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਟਾਰਗੇਟ ਨੂੰ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਾ ਸੀ। ਪੁੱਛਗਿਛ ‘ਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਅਨਿਲ ਨੇ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ, ਰਾਕੇਸ਼ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਅੰਮਿ੍ਤਸਰ ਤੇ ਬਰਿਜਪਾਲ ਨੇ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਮਮਦੋਟ ਏਰੀਆ ‘ਚ ਗਾਹਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਅਫ਼ੀਮ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣੀ ਸੀ।
