Brisbane: As the Australian government’s budget, states and territories here have also opened their skilled visa enrollment programs for 2022-23.

With the steep increase in the number of locations in the skilled designated visa (subclass 190) and ‘regionally sponsored’ (subclass 491) visa categories in most states, it appears that the government wants to increase permanent migration.

In New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia, there has been a good increase in the ‘subclass’ 491 and 190 seats.

The number of visas under the skilled category has increased from 79,600 to 109,900, while the number of seats under the family category has been reduced from 77,300 to 50,000. The federal government is also considering removing the annual limit on housing to meet the severe shortage of skilled workers. Experts believe that this is good news for the permanent residence (PR) of international holders and temporary visa holders.

According to immigration experts, given Australia’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is now a good time for temporary visa holders and outside candidates to take advantage of the nomination opportunities.

Washington: In an important decision today, the US President Joe Biden administration announced an automatic extension of work permits issued to certain categories of immigrants by one-and-a-half years. Thousands of NRIs will benefit from this major announcement made by the Department of Homeland Security today.

It also includes spouses of H-1B visa holders seeking green cards in the US who get employment authorisation cards (AAD). Now, those whose permit has expired i.e. upto 4th May, will automatically extend the period to 540 days by automatically granting extension up to 180 days.

ਨਵਾਂ ਓਪਨ ਵਰਕ ਪਰਮਿਟ 26 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ TR ਤੋਂ PR ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ।
ਇਹ ‘ਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰ ਵਰਕ ਪਰਮਿਟ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਵਰਕ ਪਰਮਿਟ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁੱਝ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
* ਮੁੱਖ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੀ PR ਦੀ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ‘ਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਨੂੰ immediate family member ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
* ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ 18 ਸਾਲ ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹੈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਓਪਨ ਵਰਕ ਪਰਮਿਟ ‘ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
* ਛੋਟੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਟੱਡੀ ਪਰਮਿਟ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
* ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਗਜ਼ ਜਮਾਂ ਕਰਾਉਣੇ ਹੋਂਣਗੇ।
* ਜੇਕਰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਪਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਕੁੱਝ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਵਿਆਹ ਦਾ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਤੇ ਜਨਮ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
