Bhubaneswar: India will play England, Spain and Wales in Pool D of the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup to be held in Bhubaneswar in January next year. Today the 16-team tournament was drawn. The teams are divided into four pools and each pool will have four teams. The World Cup will be played from January 13 to 29.

Pool A consists of Australia, Argentina, France and South Africa. Defending champions Belgium are placed in Pool B alongside Germany, Korea and Japan. Pool C consists of the Netherlands, New Zealand, Malaysia and Chile.
