Afghanistan: The newly appointed higher education minister Abdul Baqi Haqqani has said that women will be allowed to study but not with the men.
He also announced to change the curriculums in the education institutes.
In the previous Taliban rule between 1996 and 2001, they had not allowed women to get education in schools or universities.
Though Taliban have said that they will not stop women from being educated but they had not allowed women, except those in the public health sector, to continue their work citing the security situation.
The Taliban has raised their flag over the presidential palace on Sunday, announcing the beginning of their administration.
