New Delhi: The Indian team is currently in Sydney and reports are coming that they have not liked the food found being served to them during the practice session. A complaint has also been made.

Apart from this, Team India is also not participating in the practice session. The reason for this is said to be the venue set for practice being far away from the team hotel.

A BCCI source said, “The food given to the Indian team was not good. Only sandwiches were being given there. The food given after the practice session was also cold. During the T20 World Cup 2022, the ICC is making arrangements for the food of the players and staff. However, in bilateral series, the host country’s cricket board has the responsibility of eating and drinking.

The BCCI source also said that Team India is no longer participating in the practice session.

“Team India’s practice venue has been set at Blacktown on the outskirts of Sydney. It is taking 45 minutes to reach here from the hotel where the players are staying. In such a situation, the players have refused to participate in the practice session.

Meanwhile, India’s next match is on October 27. This match is to be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Here team India will face the challenge of the Netherlands. The Netherlands had to face a thrilling defeat to Bangladesh in its last match.
