Ottawa: Three men, who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman last month, surrendered before the police. They have been charged by the police.

Following the incident on August 27, the police had released surveillance pictures of the miscreants on Sunday. Police said the 31-year-old woman went to a building near Bathurst Street and Blower Street West, where she met the three men. They had never met her before. The woman then came out of the building along with one of them while the other two men also left the building soon after.

Police did not say what happened after that but said the woman was sexually assaulted by the three men. On Wednesday, police said the three suspects surrendered at Division 14. They have been identified as Arshveer Bath (20), Sukhpreet Singh (23) and Narinderpal Aulakh (24).

Police said they have been charged with sexual assault and joint sexual assault. They will be produced before the court in October.
