Tomato flu gripped Children, know what is this flu, who does it affect?

New Delhi: A new disease has worried people amid the corona infection epidemic. In the southern state of Kerala, symptoms of a certain type of fever have been observed in children. Experts have named this particular type of fever as ‘Tomato Flu’. The fever has so far gripped more than 80 children in Kerala.

Most children under the age of 5 are falling ill due to tomato flu fever. There is no special medicine available to treat it. It is a fast-spreading fever just like other viral diseases.

According to experts, this is a kind of viral flu that mostly targets children under the age of five. As far as the symptoms of this fever are concerned, its skin rashes, irritation and dehydration are included when it is vulnerable to it. Its other symptoms include fatigue from the flu, joint pain, stomach cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, cough, sneezing, runny nose, high fever. At the same time, in some cases, the color of the skin of the patient’s feet and hands may also change.
