Chandigarh: A large number of accidents take place every day in Punjab, due to which precious lives are being lost. Punjab Roadways buses also met with several accidents in the past.
However, learning no lessons from this, the Transport Department of Punjab recruited new drivers without tests.
Big questions are being raised on the recruitment of 28 drivers in the Transport Department, who are joining drivers undergoing tests and without training.
The contractor has approved the recruitment of 28 drivers though these drivers have been recruited through outsourcing in the Roadways department and they will ply the buses across the country.
