New Delhi: From 1 April 2022, Malaysia’s borders will reopen and fully vaccinated people will not require travel insurance for entering Singapore or Malaysia via the land border now.

The Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) has made this announcement after a change in rules by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

The Malaysia-Singapore borders will reopen this 1 April. Travellers from Singapore are exempted from on-arrival test, authorities said.

Meanwhile, earlier, short-term visitors required a travel insurance, which must have S$30000 (INR 16,67,149), coverage to enter Singapore from across the globe.
