Ottawa: Many travelers traveling through Toronto Pearson International Airport are complaining about not getting their bags even after waiting for several days.
At Toronto Pearson International Airport, hundreds of bags are seen lying in the waiting area of Terminal 1. One person, who did not wish to be named, said he had landed at the airport a day before Christmas with a small gift and ski gear, but was yet to receive his luggage. He said that it is very bad that you have to spend your Christmas looking for your belongings, it is very disappointing.
Another woman said she landed at Toronto Pearson Airport on December 24. But she has made several trips to the airport to pick up her bags but is yet to find only one of the four bags. Travellers said that most of the staff is also not there due to the holiday season.
Similar complaints have been made by other people, and Toronto Pearson International Airport officials acknowledged the problem on Twitter as well.
