Trudeau extends Canada’s military training to Ukrainian soldiers

Ottawa: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced to further increase the training being given by Canada to Ukrainian soldiers.

Trudeau’s announcement came after two people were killed in a missile attack in Poland on Tuesday. Speaking on the sidelines of the G-20 summit, Trudeau said there should be an investigation into how the missile attack happened. He also said that he is not provoking anyone, but it is the responsibility of Russia to start this war.

Canada has been training Ukrainian soldiers in the UK since 2015 and it has been named Operation Unifire. Trudeau met with G7 leaders and NATO military partner members this morning on how to deal with the latest incident in Poland.
