Mathura: Two employees, who were sleeping in the pantry and store room of the hotel complex in Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district, were charred to death and another was badly injured in a fire in the wee hours today, police said.
Firefighters doused the fire after several hours of efforts.
Four sanitation workers of the hotel were sleeping in the servants’ quarters adjacent to the hotel after finishing their work at night, but the fire broke out in the pantry and store room in the early hours, which took a terrible turn within a few minutes.
