New Delhi: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Tuesday barred the two planes from flying due to engine failures on Go First’s Mumbai-Leh and Srinagar-Delhi flights.

Officials said the DGCA is investigating both the incidents and the two aircraft will be able to fly only after getting clearance from the regulator. They said Go First’s Mumbai-Leh flight was diverted to Delhi after engine number two was reported to have malfunctioned.

Similarly, engine number two of the company’s Srinagar-Delhi flight was also directed to return to Srinagar after it was detected with a mid-air fault, officials said.
