Brampton: Two people sustained injuries after a fight broke out at a Brampton banquet hall overnight. A person was arrested in this case after the incident.
Peel Region Paramedics said that they received a call before midnight Saturday and found out a fight in progress after reaching at Speranza Banquet Hall on Deerhurst Drive, off of Goreway Drive.
Two people suffered injuries of which one was admitted to local hospital with minor injuries while another sustained more serious injuries.
Over hundred people were reportedly present at the spot when emergency crew arrived there.
Police said a person has been charged with assault, but they did not disclose any information about the accused.
