Two teenagers charged after 14 armed pharmacies robberies

Ontario: Two teenagers have been charged with 84 charges in connection with the alleged 14 armed robberies killed at pharmacies in Mississauga and Brampton in the past few months.

From December 2022 to January 2023, the two boys targeted eight pharmacies in Mississauga and six pharmacies in Brampton, peel regional police said.

The teenagers were arrested by Toronto police on January 24 under Project Mayhem.

The project focused on armed thefts that took place in the GTA and involved several teenagers and youth in these thefts.

Peel police said the teenagers, aged 14 and 15, will face 84 criminal charges for robbery, disguise and violation of court orders.
