Two women bounded after stabbing incident in Toronto

Toronto: Two women were badly injured in stabbing incident in Northwest Toronto on Sunday morning and were hospitalized for treatment.

The incident took place just before 8:30 a.m. in a residential building near Finch Avenue on Islington.

In a tweet, Toronto police said a woman was badly injured by a knife attack on her hand and was taken to a local hospital by paramedics. Paramedics reported that the woman’s injuries were not very serious.

Another woman, who sustained stabbing injuries at 10.21 am, was rushed to a hospital, police said. Police also said that the woman was also injured in the earlier incident but no clear information was released about her condition.

Police are searching for suspects.
