Ottawa: Quebec police said today said that a 2-year-old child died in car after being left alone in a car near Montreal on Friday.
Police said that emergency services were called to a parking lot in the suburb of Vaudreuil-Dorion around 4:15 p.m and child was found inanimate.
Provincial police spokes Sgt. Stephane Tremblay said that health officials attempted to revive the child but he was declared dead while being transported to hospital.
“We Don’t know how long the child was left in the car before he was discovered. We are investigating the case,” Tremblay said.
