What is in the UN report?

Investigators say they have found “credible evidence” of atrocities that amount to “crimes against humanity”.

China gave this argument

However, there is a continuous protest from China on this report. China had earlier appealed to stop this report, while now after the release of the report, China has alleged that it is a conspiracy to damage its reputation, which includes Western countries. In fact, China has argued on these allegations that Uighurs are targeting terrorists present among minorities. Different strategies are made for this.
