UK gurdwara issues warning after Indians duped with fake job offers

London: The gurdwara in the city of Kent in south-east England has issued a warning on its website after Indians were duped with fake jobs and visa-issuing advertisements.

Sri Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend has released a copy of the advertisement titled Warning of Fraud and released it on its website and other social media platforms.

It said that the ticket given in the name of the gurdwara free, visa free, food free job offer is fake. The ad, titled “Urgent need in the UK”, said interested men and women should call the given WhatsApp number. A warning issued by the gurdwara in this regard reads, “Warning of fraud: Do not use these services. It is not related to Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara.
