Umesh Pal murder case: Second encounter in 8 days in UP

New Delhi: The UP Police got a big success in the Umesh Pal murder case on Monday morning. Main accused shooter Vijay alias Usman Chaudhary, who was involved in this murder, was killed in an encounter in Lalpur area of Kaundhiara, Prayagraj. Usman was the first to shoot at Umesh Pal. He was seen on CCTV.

This is the second encounter in 8 days. Earlier on February 27, gangster Arbaaz was killed in an encounter. It was claimed that Arbaaz had taken the shooters to the spot in a car. Umesh was killed on February 24 by about five shooters. 7 were in backup.

Prayagraj police have not given the time of the encounter, but said that the encounter took place in Lalpur area of Kaundhiara. A cop, Narendra, was also injured in Usman’s firing. In the retaliatory firing, Usman was shot. The police immediately brought him to SRN Hospital. He died during treatment there. However, the police have not yet officially confirmed the death.

7 shooters were involved in Umesh pal murder. Two of them have been killed. 5 are being sought. On Sunday, the police increased the reward amount to 2.5 lakh to 2.5 lakh. Besides them, several people, including Atiq Ahmed, his Ashraf wife Shaista Parveen, his brother Ashraf and their son, have been named as accused. Atiq Ahmed is lodged in a jail in Ahmedabad and Ashraf Bareilly. Atiq’s son has been on the run since the murder.
